How to Make a Kahoot in a Browser
Log in to your Kahoot! account, then select New kahoot from the top navigation bar.
Begin typing your first quiz question and include 2-4 response options. As you make modifications, they are automatically stored.
Adjust the timing and the number of points awarded for correct answers on the right.
To add more questions, click Add question. In addition to the multiple-choice quiz, depending on your membership, you can add the following question types:
Allow pupils to decide whether a statement is true or false.
Type answer: instruct kids to type a brief proper response.
Puzzle: extend learning by asking students to arrange answers in the correct order.
Poll: get student feedback;
Give further context to a topic using a slide;
Collect short free-form comments to create a word cloud.
Open-ended: invite students to type a lengthy response — a fantastic method to gather detailed input.
You can easily alter the question type on the right-hand side without having to retype it.
To make the inquiry more engaging, include an image or video. You may either upload an image from your computer or select one from our image collection.
If necessary, drag and drop questions to rearrange their order.
To add a title and fine-tune other variables, click Enter kahoot title. For example, in the Summary screen, you can specify whether your kahoot is shown to only you or to all users.
Hit Done – you’ve finished your first kahoot, and it’s now ready to play! You can either live-stream it or offer it as a student-paced task.
How to Make Use of Our Question Bank
Instead of creating new questions, you can search our question library for over 500 million old ones. Using the question bank, according to our tests, will help you make kahoots up to three times faster!
When building your kahoot, click the Question bank button in the left-side panel. Begin entering a question and go over the autosuggestions. When you’ve discovered a pertinent question, click Add and make any necessary changes.
Importing quiz questions from a spreadsheet
Our spreadsheet importer allows you to reuse existing multiple-choice questions from other tools. Use our spreadsheet template to prepare questions, answers, and time limitations for each inquiry. To upload the filled template, choose Import spreadsheet while creating your kahoot.
Importing presentations and creating interactive lessons
You can import existing slides (from PowerPoint, PDF, or Keynote) and combine them with different question types to create an interactive lesson with a Kahoot! Premium+ or Kahoot! EDU subscription:
When building your kahoot, on the left side, choose Import slides.
To upload a presentation file, follow the instructions. Our slide importer supports the presentation formats.ppt (PowerPoint), PDF (you can export Google Slides to PDF), and.key (Keynote).
You can move or delete slides after they’ve been posted, but you won’t be able to alter their content.
In order to engage pupils and increase engagement, include interactive questions.
